Dr. Lloyed Clarke Lloyed qualified as a Sport and Exercise Technologist in South Africa and in 2009 completed his Masters of Health Sciences in Chiropractic at Durban University of Technology, in which he received the Chiropractic Achievement Award for Clinical Excellence. By combining the two disciplines allows a more comprehensive understanding in treatment and management of neuromusculoskeltal conditions which impacts the general health and well being of patients. Lloyed managed his own flourishing family practice and has since relocated to Australia with his family, where he has completed the Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia Competency Based Evaluation. Being fortunate to represent South Africa at two World Indoor Hockey Tournaments, Lloyed understands the continuous drive to achieve optimal performance on and off the field. Not to mention the frustration and disappointment that may occur during rigous strenuous training which can lead to biomechanical imbalances causing old injuries to flare up or new injuries to occur. It is this reason the continuous Chiropractic treatment is important and should be maintained. Lloyed observed this while while working as a team doctor for a Premier League Football Club overseeing injury management, rehabilitation as well as the continued physical assessment of the players. In 2021, Lloyed coached the Norths Kalgoorlie Wesley Hockey Club J9-12 Boys that won the Grand Final and in 2022 coached the J3-8 Boys that were runner up in the Junior Grand Final. Lloyed's diverse experience will ensure that all patients have the best possible outcome and he encourages the use of self-maintenance programs that are specific to every patient.
